XVI International Forum-Contest of students and young researchers under the auspices of UNESCO

We are happy to invite you to participate in the XVI International Forum-Contest of students and young researchers “Topical Issues of Rational Use of Natural Resources” under the auspices of UNESCO. The Forum-contest’s programme includes: – a plenary session in the format of an open dialogue with participation of Russian and international experts; – a prestige lecture by an outstanding expert; 10 breakout sessions (Appendix); master classes given by researchers and specialists in various fields of expertise; – a case competition; TED-style presentation (contest of public-speaking skills); the 2nd International Academic Session of Junior Scientists for the 9-10 grade students. Please note that this year a brand new breakout sessions have been included into the program: “Topical issues and contradictions of modern society development” and “Current aspects of architectural and urban activities” with the Creativity competition for students and graduate students. postponed to 02-04/09/2020 – Montanuniversität Leoben, Austria The Austrian Climate Day is a scientific conference that aims to provide an overview of current Austrian research activities in the fields of climate change, impacts, adaptation and prevention. In addition, the Climate Day has developed into a central showcase of research activities financed by climate and energy funds. Furthermore, the Climate Day serves to network natural science, socio-economic, humanities and cultural science departments and promotes the exchange between basic research, applied research and users. A special focus is therefore placed on cooperation and dialogue with stakeholders from politics and administration as well as networking with practitioners, research funding agencies and businesses. Through the Climate Change Centre Austria (CCCA), forces are bundled; scientific findings on climate change can be efficiently transported to society and contribute to solving the challenge of climate change.
